Green energy and renewable energy may be able to provide a solution. The renewable energy includes solar energy. As the solar energy has the advantage of easy installation, people are willing to install the solar energy. Taiwan has great experts and experiences at semiconductor、TFT-LCD、DRAM and LED. The great experts and experiences are good for expanding the solar industry from solar cell to solar module and solar system. However, Taiwan's solar industry faces the new challenges, including new competitors and punitive duty. We conduct a case study with SWOT analysis, Porter’s Diamond Model, seven forces analysis and experts interview to discuss the vertical integration strategy in Taiwan solar industry.
