Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 電機工程學系 === 102 === In this thesis, tri-band and penta-band antenna designs are proposed. The tri-band antenna design is described in chapter 3. The penta-band antenna design is described in chapter 4. Two antenna designs are printed multi-band slot dipole antenna. They are fed by coplanar waveguide. The same principle of two antenna designs is to increase more magnetic current resonant paths that can achieve multi-frequency operation. The tri-band antenna design is achieved by adding two different size C-shape metal strips into each slot. The penta-band antenna design is achieved by adding a metal sheet which embedded four different length slot lines into each slot. Simulation and measurement of two antennas show good agreement. The measured radiation power patterns of two antennas in each band are similar to the dipole antenna. The measured antenna gains are about 5 dBi to 6 dBi.
