Second, it conducted an analysis of the correlation between the principal’s leadership qualities and his present achievement. Third, it explored the principal’s leadership qualities and their impact on efficiency and empowerment of the school .The research is based on narrative study approach and data analysis, both of which are qualitative methodologies. Interviews of the participant, his life stories and paradigms of thought are ways of data collection. The experience of reality of the participant and his experience as leader was presented through narrative analysis. The conclusions were as follows; first, in the process of principal’s growth: (1) family history was the formative factor in directing him to take education as a career; (2) the family limited financial situation promoted principal’s adaptive ability; (3) wide exposure during schooling stage broadened principal’s thinking and perspective; (4) those who understudied the qualities of being a good principal were at an advantage for him to become a principal. Second, with respect to a principals’ leadership qualities in relation to efficiency, here were the findings: (1) the enthusiasm and moral virtues of principal were exemplary for both teachers and students; (2) a principal’s knowledge and moral cultivation created an environment for lifelong learning; (3) the principal tended to build consensus and collective leadership; (4) the principal concerned innovative strategy to create the school culture and values; (5) the principal implemented the concept of school and community as an interrelated whole; (6) the principal tried his utmost to carry out the school tasks from beginning to end. According to the conclusions of this study, suggestions were provided.
