Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 教育研究所 === 102 === Abstract The present study aimed to explore an elementary principal’s aesthetic practice of Vitality elementary school by examining various documents, interviews and personal reflections. Through the qualitative research method, this study investigated to what extent and how the principal practiced and utilized leadership aesthetics to develop the specification and significant feature of the school. Findings are addressed as followed: First, the principal’s leadership aesthetics was influenced by the multiple background and experience, educational beliefs and philosophy, and aesthetic experiences. Second, the principal practiced his leadership aesthetics effectively into six dimensions which are curriculum leadership, instructional leadership, administrative leadership, professional development, public relations, and personal practice. Third, the principal's leadership aesthetic ideas influenced the Vitality elementary school in positive ways. Fourth, the principal encountered the following difficulties when practicing leadership aesthetic: lack of time, the increasing loading of school members. According to the findings, suggestions for the school leaders, school administration, the principal training and teacher training institutions and future research were made.
