Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 電子工程學系 === 102 === Abstract Several modulated waveforms are utilized by electrical stimulation therapy to relieve muscle aches. The modulated signal is conditioned by a constant voltage or a constant current amplifier to deliver electric energy to skin cells by contact electrodes. The electric energy is converted to heat or chemical physical energy at the cellular tissue that replaces biological function to cause physiological reactions to produce therapy effects. Thus, the development of "multi-function-oriented" electrical stimulation therapy instrument signal generator has been realized on an inexpensive single-chip microcomputer platform. It can generate the modulated waveform accordance with the parameter settings of signal wave-shape, frequency, amplitude, modulation index, and therapy time interval that come from the user interface operated by medical staffs. Extended waveform shapes can further strengthen the efficacy of electrical stimulation therapy, so future development will focus on the extension of electrical stimulation signal waveform shape category.
