During the machine warming process with different internal design of pressure wheel, the thermal rising and the wheel expansion of outside diameter where the bearing placed take long time and affect the performance of production. To analyze and improve the thermal conductivity of wheel head, the design of pressure wheel is simulated by ANSYS finite elements method for a 90mm deep hole on the original pressure wheel. The experiment performs a great improvement of the production efficiency of corrugated cardboard machine. The new pressure wheel can achieve instant thermal conductivity and thermal growth which increase the speed of conductivity by steaming. The result shows that the proposed pressure wheel increase 17% efficiency of heat conductivity. Also, the relative tolerance of bearing position has improved 0.005mm. which effectively improve the precision between pressure wheel and corrugated wheel. The thermal expansion of bearing position is therefore increased 28%.
