With the rapid development of the women's movement and feminist, the marital violence and maternal &; child safety have been increasing attention that highlights the importance of policewomen in police organizations. The policy for manpower recruitment of Police decision departments is gradual relaxation of gender restrictions to follow the trend and implement the Gender Equality. Because all policemen and policewomen shall be distributed to field work units, it is the trend that more and more women to join the police line-up. The property of police service operates 24 hours with 3 shifts. Tasks with undefined risk also shock and challenge policewomen physical and mental state. The purpose of this study aimed at understanding the working adaption and troubles of policewomen in busy duty unit. We want to realize that did policewomen get sufficient supply when engaged in extreme danger tasks and would the police services affect the inauguration willingness and policewoman families. We designed questionnaires as research tools to interview for 2 directors, 2 policemen, 4 policewomen and 2 transferred policewomen in Chiayi City Police Bureau. This study analyzed qualitative interview data, draw conclusions as follows: 1. The policewomen generally able to adapt to field work, but mostly arranged as assistant. 2. The strength and courage of policewomen less than policemen. 3. The female structure will indeed affect the operation of task. 4. The director will adjust task of policewomen by safety considerations. 5. Policewomen bring some impacts to male worker culture. 6. It should provide protection to policewomen on duty for safety concerns. 7. It is policewoman advantage to play a complementary role in task. 8. Friendly surrounding is improving, but still not enough. 9. The stereotype shadow in workplace still exists. 10. Policewomen could not get rid of the shackles of family roles. 11.
