Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 輔導與諮商學系研究所 === 102 === This study is aim to explore the psychological process of the transformation of role-identity in the female Chinese immigrators. Three subjects, married with Taiwanese man for at least 6years and has children, participated in this study. Researcher utilized semi-structured in-depth interview to collect data and analyzed the content by the method of Theme analysis. The results reveal five themes, as follows(a)Affected by original family strongly, and builded a new home courageously —autonomous self (b)big challenge to manage the new home, and stress coming from everywhere--Multiple Self (c)not easy to get belonging, and pressure come from intrapersonal and interpersonal relationship—compliant self(d)got support from home difficultly, and weaved new social support system—lonely self(e)depended on marriage, and stood steadily—accommodating self. The female Chinese immigrators do play not only a daughter but also a wife, a mother, a daughter-in-law, a immigrator, and a Taiwanese. They faced different challenges and frustration while they encountered the transformation of the roles and the relationship. They worked hard to accommodate the environment and found their own identity.
