Description
Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 非營利事業管理學系 === 102 === Taiwan is aging rapidly and will turn to an aged society as early as 2018. Authority has been driving its service supply systems towards community based, localized and undisrupted long-term care. In facing of increased administration, demand for quality care, competition from rivals, difficulty in recruiting professionals and in lack of innovation, long term care institutes (LTCI) in Taiwan are at the edge of re-positioning and re-forming. This paper studied the business model innovation (BMI) of a LTCI located in southern Taiwan with two key findings:(1) Customer segment, value proposition, key activities and key resources are critical elements of BMI; (2) Human resource is the key factory of success in the implementation of BMI.
