Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 應用日語研究所 === 102 === After World War, since 1945, Taiwan fastener industry has been developed about 68 years. The development history of Taiwan fastener industry has gone through more than a half century. Since the efforts under Taiwanese SMEs, various companies do transactions, exchange information and help with each others, hence, the industry became to one kind of structure, industrial agglomerations, nowadays. The mainly export-oriented Taiwan fastener industry makes use of the division of labor between enterprises to achieve the goal of mass production. In these conditions, Taiwan became the major fastener production and supplier country in the world, and was honored a reputation of "Kingdom of fastener" in 1980''s. The fastener is one of the most widely used products to support various industries in the world and also indispensable parts, often referred to as "the salt of industry". However, in today''s era of globalization, the international market became to the division of a global industrial production model. The market is in pursuit of cheap goals and dominated by end user. Besides, the power of Taiwan fastener industry is facing a direct impact by China''s growing and Southeast Asian countries with low-cost production; it is also bound to accept every competition. Therefore, in order to be more competitive, Taiwan fastener industry seems to be changed gradually from the past industrial type of "horizontal division of labor". In this study, in order to pursue competitiveness of Taiwan fastener industry, it must clearly identify the most suitable production patterns to fastener enterprise in the near future. About the constitutes of this study, at first the research purpose of this study is described on the first introduction chapter under the collection of over the past individual researchers data of Taiwan fastener industry to sort out the fastener industry-specific by using of deductive and inductive method. Then this study comes out a hypothesis which is the future development of Taiwan fastener industry will be transformed into a "vertical integration and horizontal division of labor combined" type. Next, in Chapter 2, there is discussions of Taiwan fastener industry from past to present an overview of the history and development and to future summarize the characteristics of the fastener industry. In Chapter 3, there is based on three of mythologies of "Five forces Analysis", "SWOT Analysis", as well as "Diamond Analysis" to analyze the competitiveness of Taiwan fastener industry. In Chapter 4, there is detail describe of the hypothesis of this study and making examples of 4 companies to compare with the results of examples and the hypothesis. In ending chapter, there is making a conclusion to prove the results of 4 examples which is referred to the same direction with the hypothesis of this study. Finally, I hope the research of this study can provide every fastener industry in Taiwan to find the most suited patterns for their business.
