This study interviewed the experts engaged in naval ships repair and maintenance business for more than 15 years with the viewpoint of "Catalytic Mechanism" (Jim Collins, 1999a) to explore where the Works Agency’s "Catalytic Mechanism" are to reach the ship repair core concepts, maintain the core values, and enhance the performance. And conclude to “Recognize difficult to retain the core values”, “Standardize the catalytic mechanism”, “No communication, No achievement” and “All from ourselves”.
