| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 美術學系 === 102 === This study mainly focuses on the paintings of Chien-Hsing Lien, a Taiwanese contemporary artist, there are three parts in this study. The first part,explores the correlation between the artist’s cultivating background and works in an attempt to analyze his artistic ideas and creation style as well as the relationship between the individual and should be combined under the age of social; The second part is starting from his style of works, it probes into the development history and phenomenon of the realistic paintings in Taiwan, and analyzes and compares the particularity of his works from synchronic and diachronic perspectives; The third part is mainly studies the content form and media of the works, analyzes the elements which frequently appear in his works to explore their implications and significance, and further interprets the symbolic meanings of his works.
