As to know, understanding the Management Consulting firm how to perform human resource management is helping Management Consulting firm to effective use of human resource management and not because human resource management is laborious and time-spending that pay less attention on human resource management. The competence of consultant will influence the operation of Management Consulting firm and determine the consultant can solve the problem of customers or not. This study based on competence development , finding out the result to present situation of human resource management of Management Consulting firm, and consultants’ completeness and expectations. And then, comparing it and finding the differences. This study uses structured interview way, choosing a human resources department head and two consultants in each of two large-scale Management Consulting firm in Taiwan as the samples, total six samples. The conclusion shows: First, the human resource management in large-scale Management Consulting firm is well-done and having strategic directions. The effect of human resource management is better than small-scale Management Consulting firm, and is willing to provide more adequate training and welfare system. Second, consultants are aware of and satisfied with the human resource management in Management Consulting firm. Third, the differences in Management Consulting firm and Consultants are the idea of job rotation, the mode and completeness of training, and how to assess the contribution of consultants. Finally, the suggestions will be recommended in the study.
