Taiwan will be entering highly dependent on social welfare in the country in the future, some problem such as aging of population, family environment changes, social assistance and other issues will continue to increase. Therefore, social workers must continue to learn professional knowledge training and skills development. And effectively building social capital belong social workers. To strengthen social workers and organization for knowledge management in the acquisition, storage, sharing and practice meet the needs in the future. This study aimed to investigate the effects of Job Characteristic, Social Capital and Knowledge Management Willingness of social workers. We choose social workers in Social Affairs Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government as the object of this research. Purposive sampling method was adapted, 300 questionnaires were sent out and 240 were returned. The response rate of questionnaires reached 80%.   This study used descriptive statistics, factor analysis, correlation analysis, T-test, one-way-ANOVA and regression analysis to analyze the data. According to the results, the study found that: (1) Job Characteristic, Social Capital and Knowledge Management Willingness are partial significant differences by demographic attributes.; (2) Job Characteristic of social workers has partial significant differences on Knowledge Management Willingness.;(3) Social Capital of social workers has a part of moderating effect for the relationship between Knowledge Management Willingness.   According to the above conclusion, the study providing recommendations for social workers of Social Affairs Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government and future researchers of related issues.
