A Study on the Impacts of College Students' Personality Traits, Learning Motivation and Learning Satisfaction on Individual Career Planning

碩士 === 國立澎湖科技大學 === 觀光休閒事業管理研究所 === 102 === This thesis examines the characteristics, variation, and relation of personality traits, learning motivation, learning satisfaction and individual career planning displayed by the college students in National Penghu University of Science and Technology. The results can serve as guidelines in teaching improvement, equipment, planning of student internships, in College of Tourism and Leisure at National Penghu University of Science and Technology. Through purposive sampling, 558 valid samples were selected in this study. Research methods include T-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe, Canonical Correlation Analysis and Multiple Stepwise Regression. The results of with study showed that (1) College students with different background display significant variance in their in personality traits, learning motivation, learning satisfaction and individual career planning. (2) There exists a correlation between personality traits in learning motivation. Three of the canonical correlation coefficients are significant. (3) There exists a correlation between learning motivation in learning satisfaction. Five of the canonical correlation coefficients are significant. (4) Personality traits, learning motivation and learning satisfaction can predict individual career planning. Among the eight variables of personality traits, learning motivation and learning satisfaction, career counseling renders the best prediction.
