The study first discusses the definitions and meanings of employment capacity from related literature. Second, the study provides an overview and the in-depth understanding of long-term care development evolution and the current employment system of domestic care waiters, including their education and training courses and the implementation status of the licensing process. This is to build a foundation for creating a appropriate care helpers employment capacity assessment pointers. The findings propose several suggestions with the hope that they could serve the care service industry, welfare government agencies for the use of planning and training and amendment of welfare policies, and for schools and universities for course and curriculum planning. According to analysis from the study, some specific conclusions are as follows: First, the employability primary characteristics of care givers include the "basic skills", "professional" and "substantive technical capacity". Second, the overall employment capability index structure for care givers is a three-tier system of employability pointer, which consists of 3 points on the first level and 10 points on secondary master pointer level and 46 on the three level. Third, the three pointers in level one care givers employability, as sorted by care services industry experts and importance, are namely "substantive technological capability", "professional" and "basic skills". Four, the top most important among the ten pointers in level two care givers employability, according to care services industry experts are " Care service capacity 」、「 Language proficiency 」、「 Problem-solving ability 」、「 Workplace skills 」、 「 Ability to design activities People ". Five, the top 10 most important indicators in level that most needs cultivation are 「 With concern, sympathy and empathy, honesty, trustworthy qualities 」 、「 Thinking of professional ethics and Moral Spirit 」 、 "Site maintenance", "unexpected disaster emergency management capacity", the 「 With stability, plasticity, resistance 」 、 "When necessary to seek other care givers to issue advice and assistance", "Chinese and dialect ( Minnan, Hakka, Aboriginal languages and new immigrants ' language ) "," Found issues related to basic needs "," ability to maintain body cleaning and comfort technology for the elderly "," understanding nutrition and diet and help feed feeding ability "。 Keywords: care attendant, employability, pointer Dr. Ming-Huei Tsai 蔡明惠 博士 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 112 zh-TW
