Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育學系碩士班 === 102 === This research abopted Student’s Team Achievement Division (STAD) of Cooperative Education, and addressed the influence of the students interests and chievement toward mathematics about 2nd-grade students in the elementary school. Besides , discussing the strategies when the teacher confronted the difficult in teaching mathematics and reflected on myself after the curriculum. The samples of this study were fourteen second-grade students , and they were divided into two diffriend groups while being in progress of STAD. The researcher collected data through a questionnaire of mathematics interests , cooperative qroup worksheet , teaching journal , reflecting record , video-recording , a feedback survey , math’s test and classroom observation from students. This research showed several findings about STAD: 1. Improving the students learning interests and confidence. 2. Improving the students’ attitude and ability to stay focused. 3. Students achieve higher marks and improve their math skills. 4. The feelings about learning for students were affirmative and positive. 5. Promoting the ability todiscuss and express their thoughts and ideas.
