Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 102 === The propose of this research was to investigate the job problem and coping strategies of the resource room teachers in regular high schools. The researcher composed the questionnaire as the research tool. The questionnaire was related with “The Job Problem and Coping Strategies of the Resource Room Teachers in Regular high school.” A total of 90 copies of questionnaires were dispatched and 84 effective samples were returned resulting in an ralid return rate 93.33%. To analysis collected data with frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, T-test, and one-way ANOVA. The following are the results of the study: 1.The job problem of the resource rooms teachers were between less and common. The six dimension were from the highest to the lowest, the courses teaching and counseling, professional development, plan and appraisal, identification and assessment, administration and support, communication and interview. 2.The resource room teachers were troubled most by overburden, workloud, the difficulties for courses arrangement and teachers hiring, the lack of professional manpower, and the deficiency of expertise in special education. These reasons made the relative activities in the area go unsmoothly. 3.High school resource room teachers faced job problems coping strategies adopted could be broadly divided into positive and negative approach. There were positive ways:to face the problem, finding community resources to help, or finding alternative methods after estimating. Conversely, the negative approaches were:resigned to accept the problems of the job, to work overtime or on holidays, or to adjust their mood while maintaining the status quo. According to the result of the research, the researcher brought some concrete suggestions for the educational administration, schools, special education teachers and the future related studies.
