The philosophy of Lao Tzu had a profound effect on Chinese people. He advocated nature law, using Tao to explain the universe and all things on Earth, therefore, even the political, social and individual life was full of his philosophy. In order to find sustainable development and operation of natural law, we should connect his philosophy to the leadership and management of modern society and school organization. This research uses literature analysis to explore the meaning of Lao Tzu’s philosophy and the essence of his leadership and management, to propose the way of leadership for the school leader. Firstly, the researcher thought the main spirit and ideals of Lao Tzu’s philosophy can be divided into several rules: 1 nature, inaction; 2, emptiness, softness; 3, staying inferiority, not competing; 4, reverse logic. Secondly, the concept of Lao Tzu’s leadership can be analyzed from three dimensions: (a) In the leadership philosophy: 1, a respect for Nature: do not want to control everything in the nature, let the members achieve their duty with fully empowerment; 2, to govern by doing noting that goes against nature; 3, shaping a small country vision: People living a quiet lifestyle. (b) In the art of leadership: 1, let invisible system be naturally transformed into the visible system; 2 using inaction of leadership to eliminate management restrictions; 3, not holing a set thinking, people is always important, and adopt management by democracy and empowerment; 4, the simplicity is of importance; solving the difficulty from easy thing ; 5, soft leadership; 6, on the employment : not emphasizing in wise employees but how to lead them. (c) In the cultivation of personality: 1, knowing how to achieve empty, keep quiet, modest and be in inferior; 2, advocating frugality and little desires; 3, selfless and indisputable mind; 4, holding goodness. Lastly, when Lao Tzu’s thought used into the school leadership, it can be constructed from four dimensions:(a) In the construction of the vision: 1, following the ideas of doing by taking advantage of an opportunity; 2, shaping an active goal; 3, creating a natural and healthy campus.(b) In the operation: 1, a security of its position, each having its positive thinking; 2, eliminating departmental selfishness, and changing timely; 3, impartially and holding up the right; 4, thinking Tao as normalcy and people as importance; 5, being alert against the possibility.(c) In manner: 1, to keep empty and quietness, back to the innocence, 2, to keep soft, indisputable, selfless mind.(d) In thinking: holding rebellious thinking, to implement creative leadership.
