碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 文化創意產業學系 === 102 === Although not many philosophers have yet discussed it, the concept "creativity" is still the most important one in the Western history of aesthetics. Many thoughts of philosophers are full of creativity, or contain certain creative elements, Hegel’s dialectic is one of them. This thesis attempts to analyze the creativity or creative elements in Hegel's dialectical thought. Firstly, the author discusses the development of the concept of "creativity" and the approaches of the researches on it in order to make clear its definition and to find out suitable theories. Secondly, we define creativity as a kind of novelty in virtue of three theories of creativity: “unanticipated connection”, “imitation-breakthrough-uniqueness” and “Four causes”. Through the definition and these theories, we analyze the creativity or creative elements in Hegel's dialectical thought, focusing on the following texts which show the Hegel’s inheritance, critics and re-creation from the predecessors: Lectures on History of Philosophy, Phenomenology of Spirit and Lesser Logic. Finally, the author discusses and analyzes the creativity in the product design of Nendo as example according to the creative elements excavated from Hegel's dialectic.
