In order to achieve the purpose of the research, the researcher has adopted interviews, information collection, analysis of related literatures, and has entered Wannian nvironmental preservation community organizations to increase understanding of the environmental education or Wannian Stream. This study uses the repair and renovation of Wannian Steam, its historical and humanity feelings, exploration of nature, onsite investigation of hydrology, aesthetics and landscape, and ecology protection as the teaching materials for developing and planning the textbook. establishing the school’s distinguishing assessment feature. After study, the following conclusions have been made. 1.Teachers’ professional dialogue for the opinion and reflection of self assessment of curriculum is substantially helpful to school’s curriculum as well as teaching and research. 2.The substantial benefits of school’s promotion in environmental education integrating with exploration activities of community theme will provide a further understanding and guardianship from the students, parents, teachers and people in the community to Wannian Stream. 3.On the current implementation status of teaching regarding subject exploration, to analyze self-compiled teaching materials and learning situation, students decide their own exploration topics based on their interest & ability, to verify & experiment through “Learning by Doing”. 4.To analyze teachers’ teaching and learning activities for students, parents, teachers who encounter difficulties on the implementation of subject exploration activities. The expectation from the teachers is too high, students’ anxiety are inevitable. 5.Through the evaluation of subject exploration’s teaching in choosing the teaching design & assessment, learning activities & administration supports from index to create evaluation standard, so as to elevate teaching quality & benefit.
