Interviews were conducted to acquire parents’ thoughts and opinion toward physical fitness in the rank comparison for Twelve-Year Compulsory Education. Descriptive statistics, Independent-samples t-Test, and one-way ANOVA were conducted to analyze the data. Base on the data analyses, the major findings are summarized as follows: 1.The attitude of the students toward the policy that physical fitness is in the rank comparison of Twelve-Year Compulsory Education was at the level of “mostly clear.” 2.The response of the students toward physical fitness in the rank comparison of Twelve-Year Compulsory Education was at the level of “mostly adaptive.” 3.In terms of the attitudes of the subjects toward the policy that physical fitness is in the rank comparison of Twelve-Year Compulsory Education, there were significant differences among different background variables, including the subjects’ frequency of taking physical fitness tests, perceived health status and physical performances, grades of PE last semester, latest physical fitness grades in school, and latest physical fitness grades at testing stations. 4.In terms of the responses of the subjects toward the policy that physical fitness is in the rank comparison of Twelve-Year Compulsory Education, there were significant differences among different background variables, including the subjects’ perceived health status and physical performances, days for exercise per week, frequency for exercise per week, periods of time for exercise per week, grades of PE last semester, latest physical fitness grades in school, and latest physical fitness grades at testing stations. 5.Parents, according to the data from the interviews, mostly agreed with the police that physical fitness is in the rank comparison of Twelve-Year Compulsory Education and they were proactive in helping their children enhance physical fitness performance. However, they also showed their concerns about the fairness of grading of physical fitness tests for those disabled students.
