碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 化學系研究所 === 102 === This thesis is aimed at design and synthesis of pyridine center core and doing esterification reaction with 4-hydroxybiphenyl-4-carboxylic acid biphenyl or dibenzo[a, c]phenazine acid in liquid crystal material application. In addition to, dibenzo[a, c]phenazine acid has hydrogen bonding and we found special self-assembly packing basis on different alkyl chain by polarized optical microscopy (POM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-rd diffraction (XRD)。
