In this study, unit root test, the optimal lag length, cointegration test, vector error correction model, Granger causality test to analyze in Taiwan in 1991 to 2007 economic growth, carbon emissions, nuclear energy consumption and renewable energy consumption four the causal relationship between. The empirical results obtained , carbon dioxide emissions will affect economic growth , but economic growth does not affect carbon dioxide emissions , we can see economic growth and carbon dioxide emissions with unidirectional causality ; nuclear energy consumption will affect economic growth , but economic growth does not affect the nuclear energy consumption , shows that economic growth and consumption of nuclear energy with one-way causal relationship. Renewable energy consumption without affecting economic growth and economic growth does not affect the consumption of renewable energy sources , we know that economic growth and consumption of renewable energy no causal relationship ; nuclear energy consumption does not affect carbon dioxide emissions , but carbon dioxide emissions will affect nuclear energy consumption , CO2 emissions shows that nuclear energy consumption unidirectional causality. Renewable energy consumption will affect the carbon dioxide emissions of carbon dioxide emissions , but does not affect the consumption of renewable energy sources , we know that carbon dioxide emissions and renewable energy consumption has a unidirectional causality ; renewable energy consumption without affecting nuclear energy consumption and nuclear Energy consumption does not affect the amount of renewable energy consumption , renewable energy consumption shows that nuclear energy consumption with no causal relationship .
