The fuel supplemental device is passive and without any compressive instrument so that the total volume and the power consumption can be reduced. In order to avoid the decrease of the level of methanol solution and its concentration in the reaction chamber, a fuel supplemental device of a DMFC stack is designed for a long-time operation steadily under various current conditions. In order to charge 3C products directly, a 16-cell DMFC stack with about 5V and 300 mA is designed and fabricated. The stack can directly charge or drive these small power 3C products without a transformer. The experimental results show that the fuel supply device of the DMFC stack can feed fuel steadily. Therefore, the concentration of methanol solution within the reaction chamber remains the same as the initial value about 2M. The stack is already success to be used in the charge of an intelligent mobile phone, a MP3 player, and a portable radio. We expect that the stacks can be used as energy sources to drive or charge various 3C products.
