Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 102 === In this thesis, we consider to identify multiple power line outages via phasor measurement unit. For this purpose, we use the linear DC power flow model and formulate the power line outage identification problem as a combinatorial optimization problem. Therefore, the optimal solutions, i.e., power line outages, can be found by the exhaustive search. However, as a network expands with more buses, the search space grows exponentially with the number of line outages. As a result, it becomes inviable to perform an exhaustive search. To tackle this problem, we exploit the chemical reaction optimization (CRO) algorithm, which has applied to many combinatorial optimization problems, to solve the power line outage identification problem. The algorithm is tested using the IEEE 118-bus system.Simulation results demonstrate that the percentage of correctly identified line outages achieved by the CRO algorithm exhibit comparable performance to those by the exhaustive search.
