To follow the trend of globalization, there are many new performance forms of Chinese music. Unlike traditional concerts, new performances blend with multicultural elements and different art styles. These creative performances bring Chinese music art many possibilities; therefore, it can get rid of the stereotype of old fashion. These creative performances not only keep the traditional beauty of Chinese music, but also make people feel easier to understand. However, in the process of innovation, may Chinese music lose its value as a traditional art? It is the first question of this study. This study includes following points: (1) Using traditional Chinese music aesthetics as the core, and then finding out the change of cultural consumption mode through the theory of consumer society. (2) Analyzing the creative ways of different Chinese orchestras and ensembles, and using National Chinese Orchestra, Taiwan (NCO) as the main study case. (3) Using the methods of interview and data analysis to understand the actual performance situation in NCO; and further, to evaluate the feasibility of the creative performances of Chinese music. In conclusion, the “tradition” is keep changing along with the times; therefore, the creative performing way of traditional Chinese music is a certainty. If the performers cherish and respect their identity as the inheritors of traditional music, the traditional Chinese music aesthetics will naturally reveal in their performance. As long as avoiding overly commercializing and budget deficit, the creative performances of Chinese music will be feasible. Ray-lin Tsai 蔡瑞霖 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 128 zh-TW |
