HSIEH,YU-JU Abstract This thesis is to study the process of I and my husband who is visually impaired from falling in love until enter the marriage with him in the nineteen years. According the describing of myself in narrative research study, supplemented by my diary and my poetry works. As a woman, I would to say my story, this story is about my family, childhood history, and my marriage. At first, I would back to my own life development. I would begin to introduce my family stories, and how I became a caregiver of my little brothers and take on household chores after experiencing a major loss during my childhood, and became a mature child instantly. Second, I would to say how I constructed by the childhood experiencement. so that I was influenced in my future direction and later marital choice. Then I would describe as I constructed a caregiver, how I continue to maintain the role in intimate relationships, and why I have empathy. And what I experienced in our nineteen years relationship. Finally, I would have my reflection in the experience of marriage and my story. Key Words：Self-Narrative、Visual Impairment、Marriage、Single-parent families、Care giver.
