The study population was first-time expectant mothers who were pregnant at least 20-26 weeks in a medical center in northern Taiwan. There were 95 women who conceived by nature and 47 women who conceived by the means of IVF+ET were included in this study. The participants completed basic information sheet, Edinburgh Perinatal Depression Scale, Maternity Social Support Scale, and Maternal-Fetal Attachment Scale when they were recruited. The participants completed these three scales at 34-week gestation. The results show that:(1)There were 20.0% and 21.1% of women who conceived by nature had depressive tendencies during the second and third trimester respectively. There were 19.1% and 23.4% of women who conceived by the means of IVF & ET had depressive tendencies during the second and third trimester respectively.(2)No significant difference was noted on the factor of social support between women who conceived by the means of IVF & ET and women who conceived by nature.(3)No significant difference was noted on the factor of maternal-fetal attachment between women who conceived by the means of IVF & ET and women who conceived by nature. The degree of maternal-fetal attachment of the two groups increased gradually from the second trimester to the third trimester.(4) For women who conceived by the means of IVF & ET, there were significant difference on the items of "Overall maternal-fetal attachment " (t = 2.10, p = .037), the sub- scale "contribution" (t = 3.19, p = .002), and " fantasy" (t = 3.04, p = .003)during the third trimester. (5)For women who conceived by nature, there were no significant correlation on the items of "social support" and “the degree of maternal-fetal attachment " between the second and third trimester( p>.05). (6) For women who conceived by the means of IVF & ET, there were significantly negative correlation between the items of “depression " and " social support”( r= - .51, p < .05). There was significant positive correlation between the items of “social support" and the degree of maternal-fetal attachment"(r = - .51, p < .05). There was no obvious correlation between the items of "depression "and" the degree of maternal-fetal attachment". Through this study, we learn about the relationship between the depression, social support and maternal-fetal attachment on women who conceived by the means of IVF & ET or women who conceived by nature. The study results may provide clinical nursing care for women who conceived by different method. Su-Chen Kuo 郭素珍 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 118 zh-TW |
