Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 區域與社會發展學系碩士班 === 102 === This research aims to realize the clustering pattern of tea firms in Mingjian area. First, the clustering pattern was clarified through field investigate and in-depth interviews with local managers of tea firms. Second, the location characteristics of spatial clustering of tea firms was identified by using GIS Buffer analysis, Average Nearest Neighbor analysis, Point Density analysis and Overlay analysis. The findings of this research are as follow:(1)The three main influencing factors of spatial clustering of tea firms in Mingjian area are: “The long duration of sunshine in one day, which provide adequate sun fixation condition for fresh tea leaves”, “The integrated chain of production, processing and marketing” and “The avaible to tea-making labors”.(2)The spatial distribution pattern of tea firms in Mingjian area approached to be clustered. The influencing factors of spatial clustering of tea firms are “raw material”, “transportation” and “tea making technique”. Based on the findings of this research, the author suggested for the development of Mingjian tea industry are listed below:(1)Produce organic tea and set up premium tea production region(2)Promote tea tourism(3)Promote Mingjian tea to overseas markets.
