Through the cloud storage, data transmission become more efficiency, and widely being applied to computers, smart phone, and tablet. It is a new killer app. Nowadays, most cloud service providers uses freemium model, which combines free and premium together. This model allows subscribed users to enjoy certain free service (like basic storage quota), and increase storage via invite friends joins the service. Once customers satisfy and need an advance features, they can upgrade to a paid service to become a ”premium” users. In this study, we use Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a basic structure to explore cloud service’s trust, dependence, perceived usefulness, perceived ease-of-use, and attitude. So we can understand how well is freemium business model affects customers’ willingness to paid for a cloud service.
