The trapezoidal approximations preserving one of the value, the area and the ambiguity of the fuzzy number are also solved. In this paper, we propose a method to solve the trapezoidal approximations of fuzzy numbers preserving both the value and the area and find out the most efficient one. At the end, we give some examples to show that the presented method is valid.
