Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 體育學系體育科教學碩士班 === 102 === Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) has been through twenty-five years. Though there were several crises during the development of CPBL, lots of fans chose to show up in the baseball stadium, shouting and cheering for their favortie baseball team and players. Baseball players seem to be the leading roles of the game, but the games won’t be completed without the company of fans. This research aimed to uncover how fans present their fan behaviors in the stadium, and what they could experience from the ball games. In-depth interview with eight fans was the main research method, completed with autoethnography, and participant observation. In the end, the research found out the fans behaviors could be spotted not only in the baseball games, but also pre-games and even after the games. Fans behaviors reflected their strong recognition of the players and the fans’ active personalities. Sometimes, those fans behaviors could be aroused by collective consciousness. Nevertheless, fans weren’t forced to execute the fans behaviors, they could freely chose when to join in or step out of the collective consciousness. Fans seemed to make lots of contributions to the baseball team, but in the other hand, fans also gained a variety of experiences from the game, such as sense experience, feel experience, relate experience, think experience and the act experience.
