This research used questionnaires as tools, including "the basic data", "the scale of counselors’ self-care", "the scale of counseling self-efficacy" and "needs for supervision questionnaire". Participants in the study were counselors who were working in public junior high schools in Taiwan during the academic year 2013. A total of 749 questionnaires were sent out, and 453 were recovered, all recovered questionnaires were valid. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results of this study demonstrated that: 1.Junior high school counselors who are different in genders and marriages are different in self-care. 2.Junior high school counselors who are different in genders, ages, marriages, educational levels, professional backgrounds, school counseling work years and counseling cases on average week are different in counseling self-efficacy. 3.Junior high school counselors who are different in genders, ages, marriages, educational levels, professional backgrounds, school counseling work years and counseling cases on average week are different in supervision needs.
