A basal diet containing 30% fishmeal without DDGS served as control (C00). Untreated (R), phytase treated (P) and two types of protease treated (NK and 6L) DDGS at 15% and 30% inclusion levels resulted in eight DDGS-containing diets: R15, R30, P15, P30, NK15, NK30, 6L15 and 6L30. All nine diets were isonitrogenous and isocaloric and fed in triplicate. P DDGS was treated with 5000 U kg-1 of phytase Ronozyme before the diet formulation and NK and 6L DDGS was treated with alkaline serine protease from Bacillus licheniformis and B. subtilis, respectively. After a 10-week growth study, a 4-week digestibility study was conducted by adding 1% of Cr2O3 as an inert marker. Twenty shrimps, each around 1.50 g, were stocked in a 150-L tank. Shrimps were fed daily ration 5% body weight. No mortality occurred in all treatments. Shrimp of 15% DDGS groups had better growth, ADC and protein utilization than those of 30% DDGS groups. In 15% inclusion, treated DDGS (P, NK and 6L) improve growth, ADC of protein and protein utilization as compared to R DDGS showing the efficacy of enzyme pretreatment on DDGS. Among the treated diets, NK showed superior effect. NK15 had the highest values in most parameters and was significantly different than R30. NK15 also showed better growth than C00, namely, higher FIW, 17.5% higher WG and lower FCR. However, NK15 in most cases had no difference with P15 and 6L15. Untreated diet R15 showed no difference with C00 in growth and ADC parameters suggesting that 15% inclusion of DDGS is acceptable in replacing up to 22% of fishmeal. Our results demonstrated that both protease and phytase pretreated DDGS created more digestible nutrients thus improved shrimp’s growth. Chien, Yew-Hu 陳瑤湖 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 72 en_US |
