Then analyse the current situation about the tourism development and the current problems. Finally, we suggest the directions of development for tourism should be improved. The results are summarized as follows: 1.Waimushan-Dawulum coastal zone in Keelung has gone through the Jose, The Qing Dynasty, the Japanese colonial period, and the national government. After World War II, the economy was in a difficult situation, burning requires a lot of manpower to send torch light net fashery in order to make settlements develop Kiyama Australia. The port was built by Keelung City Government. 2.The majority of respondents are females and more than half of them are 30-50 years old. Most respondents are working in the service industry with 20-40 thousand monthly income, and spend NT$1000-NT$3000 per month on recreational activities. The main tourists are Keelung residents, most of them are married, and they come with their family to relax. 3.In the past year, most visitors come more than ten times, mainly come with their spouses and children. Most of them come by driving or through the introduction of their relatives and friends. They stay for 2-4 hours and mostly spend NT$200-NT$800, and they come to get close to the ocean as their motivation. 4.The current problems are: the absence of the tourist center, the port is narrow and long, the scattered scenery spots, the lack of public transportation, inadequacy of the rest station, no well-planned parking lot, the conflict between vehicles and tourists, inadequacy of the activity promotion and the improvement of the environmental cleanness. 5.The respondents are roughly satisfied with three major events and willing to join again. They are highly interested in the natural coastal beauty of Waimushan, but not satisfied with the inadequacy of the portable toilettes in swimming event, poor variety of the presents in exercise walking event, and the price of the food in the musical festival event. In order to bring more touring economic benefits, the organizer should fix these problems and appeal more tourists by these events. 6.Tourists’ highly satisfaction of the scenery is the competitive advantage; this could be the characteristic of local tour development. The humble of the shower facilities and the cleanness of the environment are the disadvantages, and needs to be improved urgently. 7.Waimushan-Dawulum coastal zone has unique sea sight , but the ocean access facilities are inadequate. The respondents are looking forward to going to Keelung Island, Blue Highway, sea sightseeing and other marine leisure projects. This could be competitive advantage in the future, and create recreational fishing with local characteristics. 8.The suggestions for Waimushan-Dawulum coastal zone development strategies are to intergrate leisure resources, make leisure fishing port alive, set up tourist center, do more promotion, improve the sanitary management, increase the equipment that tourists need, build the ocean access facilities and satisfy the motivation for recreation. Key words: Waimushan fishing port、Dawulum fishing port、the coastal zone ocean tourism、Recreational fishery Ou Ching-Hsiewn 歐慶賢 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 80 zh-TW
