In his later years, he had composed four groups of fantasia for four instruments, harpsichord, flute, violin and viola da gamba. Six fantasia from the 《Twelve Fantasias for Flute without Bass》were chosen in the current study for further analysis and interpretation. This dissertation contains four chapters. Chapter one explains the motive and the purpose and scope of the study and methods. Chapter two introduce the composer's life, writing style, as well as the impact of his time in the eighteenth century. Chapter three is the analysis and interpretation; each piece will be presented in a table form. Then the personal interpretation will be present in spectra of the individual part.
