碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 102 === Abstract The research is aimed at studying a life story of a junior high school principal who have not only taught for forty-six years but contributed himself to the popularization of folk athletics for thirty-eight years.Researcher adopted a research method of history of life, and took the case research of evolving system orientation which is brought up by Gurber and Wallace. To interpret the process of popularization for folk athletics of the principal, there were deep interview, the advice from coworkers and the reference information to assist. The result of the research has found that the principal treated students as his own kids, and didn’t regret any contribution; when he met challenge, he could stick on what he believed in and solve the difficulty as well in the process of popularization for folk athletics. It is his educational conception to support him that got him to hope he could cultivate students to be ones with morals and genius, and that all the educators would devote their love to education and enthusiasm to work. The research is conducted for the fact that educators may increase their enthusiasm for education and absorb the experience to do their utmost for the sustainable development of folk athletics.
