The research provides an insight into Mainland students’ perceptions of their educational experiences in universities, and administrative staff’s viewpoints of Mainland Chinese student management and services as well. Besides, the research provides possible solutions to improve students’ learning experience in Taiwan. Through the use of semi-structured interview and personal interviews, the study examines the Mainland students’ motivation and the difficulties of studying in Taiwan as well as the effectiveness of administrative assistance and counseling services which provided by the universities for these students. Based on the findings, numbers of recommendations are suggested in this thesis for enhancing Mainland students’ learning experience of studying in Taiwan.
