| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 藝術與造形設計學系碩士班 === 102 === The thesis ‘Observation Record of Plants – The Order of Time’ focuses on the reflections and experiences in the process of my artworks from 2010 to 2014. Based on self-reflection and inductive method, the thesis is to theorize how can environment affect the importance of artworks. Moreover, it also shows the self-anxiety that due to the natural change and the conversion of the language of artworks.
The thesis structure is divided into four sections. The first chapter focuses on the motivation of artworks. Due to the reflection of life, it is to discover the connection of the land and myself. The next chapter is primarily about my painting, which is to transfer the plants’ figures into my own language. Moreover, it also discusses the spirits of creations through theme selection, structure, and the meaning of blue in my artwork. The third chapter examines how to sustain and rethink traditional paintings in contemporary art. The last chapter is about artist’s statement. The chapter will divide into two parts to review my artworks.
