In 2011, the global cosmetic industry generates over $4,189 billion U.S. dollars, which shows the importance and value of cosmetics industry should not be underestimated. Recent years, cosmetics industry has begun by using illustrator for marketing products; it has succeeded for attracting young consumers, this has drawn the writer’s attention by using creative techniques of illustrator in use of visual image redesign for cosmetics. This creation research is mainly composed of two parts: Firstly, to discuss printing technology influence on illustration’s type, understand illustrator the contexts on printing history and reason caused by illustration style, followed by exploring company of how they have used illustration’s type to analyze branding strategy, understanding the common use of design material and features in the cosmetics industry leading to the visual impact and inspiration, how the cosmetics industry utilize illustration to increase visual impact and the reputation of branding. Using evidence to analyze the conclusion of set topic of creative material. In summary, this production has three aims: First of all, by using nowadays photographic images to analyze the use of illustration materials in cosmetics industry, using this production as evidence. Lastly, based on this production result, describe how reputation is built on personal illustration style within cosmetic industry. This production is inspired by the ‘’Four Seasons’’, using perfume, lip stick, hair color products’ visual image and the utilization of illustration design strategy, through logical design in process, renew visual impact of cosmetics, produce unique cosmetic product range and try offer an interesting illustration reference for others.
