There have been a great number of competitors investing in the B&B industry, making it an emerging leisure industry. With the establishment of the various characteristics of B&BS; gradually, the business compete closely. How to use the strategies of business management effectively to increase the superiority of competition have become the issues that the owners of the inns have to face. In this study, the “Innovative SWOT Matrix” concept was adopted to analyze the resources, customers, and competitors of the Shan Ban Bay Inn. The categories and the degree of impact were quantified in order to analyze the core resources and crucial success factors of the Shan Ban Bay Inn. The “Difference Matrix Comparison” of analysis was used to grasp the advantages and disadvantages of internal or the external market opportunities. The results of the emperical studies indicate that it could be superior with the core resources in the market if the staff understands the process of establishment and development of the inn itself, the staff can be earnest and responsible one and royalty to the inn, and they would collect information of other inns. The standard of the inns correspond to the market demanding, smooth capital turnover, not having any financial problems, brand and images are the main factors to succeed. It could satisfy most of the customers if the surroundings of the inns are beautiful, the view of the room is fascinating, the room is soundproof and qualified with legal registration certificate and practicing certificate. Facing rapid changes in the market, the Shan Ban Bay Inn ought to make the best use of the superior geographic location, make marketing channels diverse, strengthen the staff’s professional and educational training, and attend more activities so that the inn can become more famous.
