The related research reports of spatial information ability, spatial cognitive ability and description ability of children are very scarce. Today children are living much different from the past with the environment and stimulus. This study attempts to research that the influence of spatial information ability, spatial cognitive ability and description ability of children in case of using Google Earth software in education by drawing community map by hand. In order to more effectively see the impact of the use of Google Earth on student’s spatial imformation, spatial cognitive ability and description ability of children. The analysis items of the study are the change of the student’s spatial orgaziation ability, the change of the student’s drawing community map ability, the change of the landmark content of the student’s drawing community map by hand and the change of the path content of the student’s drawing community map by hand. Induction and analysis the interactive content berween teacher and student, and the results of the homework, proof the fifth and the sixth grade students studying with Google Earth, indeed help to improve spatial imformation ability, spatial cognitive ability and description ability. The results of this study were as follows: 1.Teaching the world map by using Google Earth is helpful in promotion the schoolchild world outlook, and showing the characteristics of children hand-drawn map from different regions, different IT background. 2.Map teaching with Google Earthenhances children’s learning motivation, and effects for spatial information ability , the spatial cognitionand and geographic knowledge of the learning outcomes. 3.We can find e-learning can enhance the effectiveness of the actual cognitive, through Google Earth software application combined with hand-drawn cognitive. In order to match the trend of the education development, the authorities concerned and all kinds of school should encourage the teachers more use the way of integration of technology into teaching, more easily cause the student to study.
