Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 進修部暑期學校行政碩士班 === 102 === If junior high school students had frustrated experiences in learning English, they lost not only the interest but also the efficacy of learning.This study discussed that English drama activities applied to the English teaching courses for junior high school students, through Action Research with participation of eighth graders. This study used techniques including classroom observation, interviews, questionnaires and field notes to triangulate the data collected as to promote the validity and reliability. The main idea of this study is to cooperate with team members. The students in each team practiced real-life English conversation with and have the common goal of performing their own work on stage. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows: 1. The teaching plans of drama activities in English teaching must be appropriate for junior high school students to study English.
