碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 工藝設計學系 === 102 === Green thinking is becoming a hot topic nowadays in our society; many eco-friendly products and creations are developed from this concept. When the author reviewed the related articles and literatures, finding that the disposal of fallen leaves and dead woods in Taiwan usually could be divided in two ways: incineration and composting under trees. Thus the author attempted to resolve and transform the natural form of fallen leaves into new appearance through crashing, re-producing, and mixing with different agglutinate materials. The purpose of the various media applications will be combined with green thinking, environment orientation, and recycled materials. Research elements: Base on the concept of ‘Recycle’, author mixes the powder from fallen leaves, sticky rice glue, and together with natural lacquer as the elemental development. The subject of this thesis is to verify the possibility of generating the fallen leaves into a feasible material for craft making. In these experiment, the author classified the materials (by different colors, fibers, and scents of fallen leaves), various mixing proportion (agglutinate materials and water in different ratio), notes taking during the experiments (photos record and data collecting); author compared the differences between data and visual records in order to provide more stable and convenience condition for craft design as well as to be a future reference for follow-up studies.
