However, due to the different degrees of internationalization, enterprises could face the complexity information-processing demands. Therefore, enterprises should adjust the appropriate corporate governance mechanisms, which help to develop into the optimal operating condition. Through TEJ and Market Observation Post System database, 499 samples of Taiwan manufacturing listed corporations from 2005 to 2012 are collected and analyzed. Using Panel Data regression model, Probit regression and Ordered Probit regression to examine the relationship between the degree of internationalization and corporate governance. This study documents that the enterprise’s degree of internationalization is positively related to the proportion of large shareholders; the enterprise’s degree of internationalization is positively related to the proportion of outside directors; the enterprise’s degree of internationalization is positively related to duality and the enterprise’s degree of internationalization is positively related to the proportion of transparency.
