In this study proceeds investigations in connection with signs, reading cognition and movement, obtain particular conclusions under the situation with/without directional signs, they are: 1.Way-finding time: increasing directional signs will decrease the way-finding time effectively, and reach the significant difference. 2.All subjects have no significant difference of selecting stairs for different background conditions when under the same situation, but the selection preferences of staircases are different when comparing in two different situations. 3.Facing multiple spaces and moving lines, configuring relations of orientation map and directional signs need further investigations.
