Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 建築系 === 102 === Prestigious investigation illustrates that building drainage system is one of the routes of infection in SARS epidemic experience, which leads to a international panic in 2003. Failure of drainage equipment is an important reason that cause the vector entering the building via air transmission. It demonstrates that corrupt performance of drainage equipment makes the whole system invalid and threaten people’s health issues . In this study, the basic of Fluid mechanics and Building Drainage System was firstly reviewed, and this paper also clarified the related issues of this system. Second, based on the conventional evaluation tool, this research proposes a comprehensive evaluation tool for Drainage Equipment of existing buildings in Taiwan. Similar to the physical examination of human body, this strategy aims to inspect the entire system to point out harmful status of issues and improve them. On the other hand, this study also estimates cases of drainage system in Taiwan, understanding the current situation and then discovering harmful status of issues explicitly. By assembling novel engineering methods and technology as strategy of renewal and maintenance, we can extend the life of drainage system, promise the performance increase of the system, and eventually fulfill all the environmental requirement like health, safety, and reduce carbon emissions.
