Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 建築系 === 102 === In recent years, more and more cities have competed to hold international exhibitions for city marketing and developed natural green space in cities actively. Therefore, exhibitions are often green-space oriented. If the equipment used in International Flora Exposition (IFE) can be reused properly after exhibitions, it will exert positive effects on the reuse and sustainable development of urban spaces. The study conducts an actual survey to the reuse of equipment at exhibition hall after the Taipei International Flora Exposition and uses successful cases on reuse of large exhibition halls abroad after exhibitions to explore the relationship and differences in equipment reuse between Taipei International Flora Expositions and foreign flora expositions and then discuss the use of equipment of Taipei International Flora Expositions in citizen activities. It divides the equipment conditions into “removal”, “reserved” and “partly dismantled, partly reserved” according to their use. It also divides them into “continuing their use in the exhibitions”, “returning to their original use” and “reuse” according to their functions. Equipment of “partly dismantled, partly reserved and continuing their use in the exhibitions” accounts for 38.73%, which is the highest; equipment of “reserved, continuing their use in the exhibitions” accounts for 17.46%. The proportion of equipment of Taipei International Flora Exposition that continued their use in the exhibitions adds up to 56.19%. Therefore, cultural creative activities that can make equipment continue their use in the exhibitions can be mainly developed. In conclusion, the true value of Taipei International Flora Expositions after exhibitions can be shown in enlivening cultural creative industries, continuing to enrich people’s life after exhibitions, driving the development of the business area around Yuanshan Station and facilitating the formation of the new type leisure space. After comparing with the foreign cases, this study makes the following conclusions and suggestions: 1. The selection of the conditions of the venue location emphasizes on the urban construction planning with prospects of future development. 2. When organizing large-scale activities, the use of the facilities and land as well as how to handle the leaving facilities after the activities should be planned in prior to the demand of facilities in exhibition activities. 3. The key factor of Japan’s successful experience lays on its long-term way of keeping post-activity facility management after activities as the main planning, with perfect long-term exhibition planning, financial planning, and post-activity reuse planning done before exhibitions. 4. An overall planning strategy for the sustainable operation of Taipei Expo Park is relatively lacked. 5. With the too short preparation time and the experience of site change, the financial planning and management was ineffective, which led to the average annual loss of 437 million during 2012 and 2013. 6. The implementation of the post-activity development planning of Taipei Flora Expo only achieved 73% of the original planning, which was not planned from the perspective of the overall urban planning in terms of long-term development, making it have no value of sustainable business planning. 7. The better the location conditions of the switched facilities for post-activity in the venue is, the closer to the MRT station it is, the more abundant will the type of activity be and the types of activities will be different on weekdays and holidays even in the same space. 8. Cultural and creative activities and exhibitions are the main forms of continuing use of Flora Expo after Taipei Flora Expo. 9. Parking space for cars and large tour buses was insufficient. 10. The space converted to be re-used for residents' sports after Taipei Flora Expo was still insufficient. 11. Equipment should be reused in the activities of citizens and community residents and children’s recreational facilities. 12. Facility conversion and implementation planning should be made before large-scale activities are held. 13. A panel of experts should be established to study “Sustainable Development and Management Innovation of Taipei Expo Park”. 14. Festival activities should be conducted for the marketing and promotion of Taipei Expo Park.
