This intelligent surveillance system consists of four parts: (1) motion detection, (2) counting and locating, (3) tracking, and (4) intrusion detection. Firstly, background subtraction is used to discriminate moving objects from the background. We will propose a so-called Improved Approximate Median Filter to build the corresponding background image. The moving objects are then located in the foreground image and their number is determined. In addition, an enhanced Abcshift tracking algorithm is proposed to achieve more robust results of object tracking. Finally, intrusion detection is performed by adopting basic geometric relationship between line and point. The overall system is verified via Matlab simulation and ported to DM6437 DSP platform. After C-code and other optimization steps, the compution frame rate is 16 FPS. The real-time processing requirement is met. Fu-Juay Chang 張富爵 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 63 zh-TW
